Our latest innovation is Mariva™ – a biobased, biodegradable, and recyclable alternative to polyester. Polyester accounts for more than half of all textile fiber use, making it one of the biggest sustainability challenges in fashion. By replacing fraction of this market, Mariva offers enormous potential for both climate impact and commercial growth.
What makes Mariva unique is its drop-in design: it works seamlessly with existing polymer and textile production infrastructure. This accelerates time to market and enables scalable adoption through licensing and co-branding models.
To bring Mariva to global scale, we are launching it as a dedicated venture. We are now looking for an inspiring CEO to lead this journey and redefine the role of polyester in textiles
Your role
As CEO of Mariva, you will:
- Drive Mariva’s commercialisation, with licensing and co-branding agreements.
- Build and lead a dynamic founding team and culture
- Secure partnerships with international textile brands and value chain players
- Raise capital to accelerate R&D, upscaling and market entry
- Represent Mariva in media, at industry events, and with customers and investors
- Collaborate closely with Senbis as your strategic and technical partner
Your profile
- A proven leader with experience scaling innovation, preferably in sustainable textiles or polymers
- Entrepreneurial, results driven, and a strong communicator
- Strategic and analytical, with a hands-on mindset
- Experience with ingredient branding, licensing, or B2B sales is highly valued
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch, Mandarin or Turkish is a plus
