Research and Development
Since the 1950s, polymer and fiber R&D has been in our DNA. We are your end-to-end partner for solving polymer challenges and bringing innovations to life: from concept to yarn.
The number of chemical recycling initiatives is rapidly increasing, particularly in textile-to-textile (T2T) recycling. However, achieving consistent quality and performance at scale remains a major hurdle. We support recyclers in validating recycled monomers for re-polymerization and assessing whether resulting materials meet the requirements of demanding applications, including spinnability into high-quality fibers. By combining R&D expertise, lab and pilot-scale processing, and advanced material evaluation, we help de-risk scale-up and accelerate the transition to truly circular polymers and textiles.

Multi-filament melt spinning
Texturizing
Chemical/Enzymatic recycling services:
Tubular fabric as a prototype
There is internal possibility to produce fabric prototype with our small circular knitting machine.
Air texturizing (ATY)
We can even the melt-spun flat yarns to ATY with our air texturizing (ATY) capabilities for the development of entangled.
False twist texturizing (DTY)
Our laboratory and pilot-scale facilities offer false twist texturizing capabilities for the conversion.
Creep
Physical characterization
A force at break value does not always describe how a yarn behaves under long-term loading conditions.
Time to failure
Physical characterization
An absolute strength (force at break) value does not always cover all the information about the strength of a yarn.
NMR oil pick-up
Physical characterization
NMR is a research technique that exploits the magnetic properties of certain atomic nuclei.
Consultancy & Research
At Senbis, we develop innovative and sustainable polymer solutions. Our team of highly experienced professionals combines deep expertise in polymer chemistry and fiber technology with a fully equipped polymer laboratory and pilot plant.
By selecting or synthesizing suitable polymers and fine-tuning melt-spinning parameters, we help our partners bring new, tailor-made products to market — fast and sustainably.
Our customers range from raw material producers to yarn manufacturers and end users, from small enterprises to multinationals.
