Research and Development

Since the 1950s, polymer and fiber R&D has been in our DNA. We are your end-to-end partner for solving polymer challenges and bringing innovations to life: from concept to yarn.

Overview of Technologies by Chemical/Enzymatic
recycling

The number of chemical recycling initiatives is rapidly increasing, particularly in textile-to-textile (T2T) recycling. However, achieving consistent quality and performance at scale remains a major hurdle. We support recyclers in validating recycled monomers for re-polymerization and assessing whether resulting materials meet the requirements of demanding applications, including spinnability into high-quality fibers. By combining R&D expertise, lab and pilot-scale processing, and advanced material evaluation, we help de-risk scale-up and accelerate the transition to truly circular polymers and textiles.
