Project Goal

As an innovative and sustainable company, Senbis Polymer Innovations B.V. aims to strengthen its strategic HR policy to better realize its mission: delivering biodegradable semi-finished products as an alternative to fossil-based plastics. To achieve this, it is necessary to build a forward-looking, inspiring organization where employees feel engaged, motivated, and employable.

Background

Although the foundation of the HR policy is in order, a strategic vision and its translation into the organization and its people are lacking. There is insufficient insight into career aspirations, development opportunities, labor market attractiveness, and the extent to which employees contribute to the sustainable mission. Additionally, the necessary culture shift—from reactive to proactive and entrepreneurial—requires targeted support.

Approach

The project consists of five components:

  • Strategic exploration – discussions with management regarding direction, ambitions, and market opportunities.

  • Employee interviews – to gain insights into wishes, drivers, and development potential.

  • HRM advisory – translating the strategy into an appropriate organizational structure, roles, and required competencies.

  • Group sessions – to create support and actively involve employees in the change ambitions.

  • Labor market communication plan – aimed at strengthening Senbis as an attractive employer.

Intended Result An agile organization with a clear strategic direction, engaged employees, and a strong employer brand. This lays the foundation for sustainable growth and innovation, backed by strong organizational support.

Contribution to Broader Objectives

The project aligns with regional and European ambitions for a circular economy, knowledge development, and the sustainability of industry. By working on strategic transition in a people-oriented way, Senbis becomes future-proof and attractive to current and future employees.

Subsidy

The project is subsidized by the Just Transition Fund (JTF).
